Kwikset
Kwikset keys typically have a round head and the code of KW1 engraved on them. Other Kwikset codes that will work are Kw10, Kw1, 6, 66, 5, & 55.
Schlage
The other popular house key, Schlage, style is now available! SC1 is generally engraved on this key type. Compatible key codes are SC1, 68, & C.
Please refer to the last photo for assistance with determining which option is for you.
The item is made of zinc alloy and plated with black nickel for durability and a nice lustrous finish.
**There is also a slightly larger souvenir/faux key version for decorative purposes only. You can use this style as a pendant, bookmark, charm, key ring and or more. Just know that it can not be cut to use as a real key.
Most home improvement stores will not cut a key blank that is not sold in their stores. However, I am sure they will be happy to help you with distinguishing the type of key that you have.
